Ask anyone what they want from jeans and the answer is fit — everything else is negotiable. The buying logic follows wear frequency. If jeans are a several-times-a-week staple, the premium is easy to defend, because fit and recovery are things you feel daily. If jeans are occasional, pocket the difference — a mid-market pair in a classic cut serves that life nearly as well.
